Today I want to introduce you the Three-D Jacket, one of the key pieces of the SS’11 collection, photographed above in the cropped bomber jacket version.

Two super lightweight fabrics have been overlaid to create a graphic three dimensional effect.  The outer layer is made of a transparent cotton gauze veil, layered over a checked summer weight wool fabric.

Oggi vorrei presentarvi la Three-D Jacket, uno dei pezzi chiave della stagione PE’11, fotografata qui sopra in versione bomber.

Sono stati sovrapposti due tessuti ultraleggeri per creare un effetto grafico tridimensionale; lo strato esterno, composto da un velo di garza di cotone trasparente, è applicato su un fresco di lana a quadri.

On Tuesday 22nd, I had the chance to meet some amazing italian bloggers.

They visited the Z Zegna Showroom in our Headquarters in Milan and I showed them the SS’11 Collection that was on the catwalk on the day before.

I had some amazing chats, they made me a lot of interesting questions, we exchanged opinions regarding fashion and style: it was so interesting!

Martedì 22 ho avuto la possibilità di incontrare alcuni fantastici blogger italiani.

Hanno visitato lo Showroom Z Zegna nel nostro Headquarter milanese e ho mostrato loro la collezione SS’11, proprio quella che aveva sfilato in passerella il giorno prima.

Abbiamo chiacchierato a lungo, mi hanno posto tantissime interessanti domande, abbiamo avuto un fantastico scambio di opinioni su temi relativi alla moda e allo stile: incredibilmente interessante!

The Fashion Week is over!

Monday was a really hectic day: Z Zegna fashion show, in the morning, Ermenegildo Zegna Centennial exhibition (yes, our Group is turning 100 this year!) and cocktail party, in the evening.

So today we are trying to get back to normal work life and I thought: why don’t sharing some backstage pics with you?

You have probably already seen some photos of the SS’11 Collection, but I am sure you will be curious to see what happened behind the scene… so here it goes!

La settimana della moda è finita!

Lunedì è stata una giornata assolutamente frenetica: la sfilata Z Zegna al mattino, l’inaugurazione della mostra sul Centenario Ermenegildo Zegna (sì, il nostro Gruppo festeggia i 100 anni quest’anno!) e il cocktail party, alla sera.

Oggi stiamo lentamente tornando alla normale vita lavorativa, quindi ho pensato: perchè non condividere alcune immagini di backstage con voi?
